White Clover

Highly abundant in grasslands, neglected areas, and along roadsides. Blooms from June to September. A perennial plant indigenous to the region.

Identification

The plant bears long-stalked white flowers, sometimes with a pink tinge, emitting a subtle scent, which droop as they fade. Its trifoliate leaves consist of oval to heart-shaped toothed leaflets, often displaying a V-shaped marking. The stems are prostrate, rooting at nodes, and the plant exhibits considerable variability.
